Falling Dart Impact Tester QT-FDIT Overview:

Introducing the QT-FDIT Falling Dart Impact Tester, meticulously designed for conducting precise impact tests on plastic films or sheets with a thickness of less than 1 mm, as well as steel plate coatings and various materials.
This top-of-the-line falling dart impact tester evaluates the damage inflicted on plastic films, sheet specimens, and other materials when subjected to the impact of a freely falling dart from a specified height, expressing the result in terms of energy (mass).
Assessing impact resistance performance, it aids in preventing surface damage to packaging caused by insufficient toughness during impacts and drops, effectively safeguarding products from harm during the circulation process. Ideal for applications in scientific research, teaching, industrial companies, laboratories, research institutes, and quality control departments.
Test Principle:

The Falling Dart Impact Test involves selecting either Method A or B and estimating an initial mass and Δm value before initiating the test. If the first sample is damaged, use weight △m to reduce the mass of the falling body; if the first sample remains intact, use weight △m to increase the mass of the falling body.
Proceed sequentially with the samples. In summary, adjusting the mass of the falling body with weights depends on whether the preceding sample incurs damage. After testing 20 specimens, calculate the total number of damages (N). If N equals 10, the test is complete.
If N is less than 10, continue testing by adding specimens until N equals 10. If N exceeds 10, continue testing by adding specimens until no further damage occurs, ensuring the total number equals 10. The system then automatically calculates the impact result.
Note: The initial value m represents the mass of the dart head during the first fall, and △m signifies the mass added or subtracted after each test. Trust the QT-FDIT Falling Dart Impact Tester for accurate and reliable results in impact testing.
